PEMF THERAPY FOR HORSES

pemf IMAGE.jpg

What is PEMF (Pulses Electromagnetic Field) therapy?
PEMF is a technology that targets the root of all illness and/or injury in the living form, which is the CELL. When cells have become damaged, essentially, they have lost their charge. They take on a deflated appearance and stick together like little stacks of coins floating around. They can no longer draw in nutrients and oxygen or release toxins like they did when they were healthy cells.

When PEMF is introduced into the body, it breaks up the stacks of damaged cells and recharges their mitochondria. As a result, blood flow to the area is increased and cell permeability is re established. This allows essential nutrients and oxygen to be more efficiently absorbed and damaging toxins and cellular waste to exit, ultimately, returning the cell back to a healthy state. Simply put, PEMF repairs damage cells, enabling them to function as they were originally designed to do. This in turn, reduces pain and inflammation, as well as improves the overall healing capabilities of the body.

PEMF therapy uses a 50-year-old technology that is health Canada approved and has a reputation you can trust.

Benefits of PEMF therapy
Clinical experience has shown that PEMF therapy maybe used for a number of issues and conditions. Some of the benefits include:

  • Reduced pain and inflammation

  • Improved energy/circulation

  • Increased oxygenation of blood/tissue

  • Increased nutrient absorption

  • Increased cellular detoxification

  • Increased cell regeneration

  • Influence of ion exchange at the cellular level

  • Accelerated repair of damaged and diseased tissue

  • Accelerated repair of torn tendons and fractured bones

  • And so much more!

What happens during a treatment?
During a treatment, the horse is tied in cross ties, while the practitioner applies various attachments to the horse’s body. Known trouble areas are specifically targeted and full body scans are preformed to detect any other areas in need. Treatments are 40 minutes long, unless otherwise arranged. After each session, the practioner shares any information gathered during the treatment.

Horses suited for PEMF therapy:
Since all illness and injury impacts the body at a cellular level, every bread and every age of horse is suited for PEMF therapy. It can even be used as a great preventative tool for healthy horses.
